Mike and I had lovingly started referring to dad and Andy as "Dandy". Today was the day that "Dandy" would be no more. For reasons that I will never fully understand, Andy decided that he wanted to leave earlier than us. We explored more of the casinos on the strip. Sadness befell all of us as the time for Andy's departure grew closer. He left around 4 that afternoon and flew home.
To help us cope with our sorrow, and to spoil ourselves a little (lot) Mike made reservations at Le Cirque in the Bellagio Hotel. This was easily the best meal I have had in my life. I have had a lot of singularly delicious items, but this tasting menu was beyond over the top. Mike and I enjoyed every bite. Some bites were better than others, but all were good. We were worried about being under dressed, but when we saw the douche in the flannel, we knew we would be alright.

The view was spectacular. The food was perfection. The company was wonderful. It was a great evening, and a good way to celebrate time together.
