Vegas a go-go

A few months ago, we decided that we wanted to go back to Las Vegas. After our less than positive, but nevertheless memorable trip last year, we decided to drive.  4 of us set out on the drive together.  We had my dad (a dynamo behind the wheel and a slot machine), Andy (a dynamo with the ladies), Mike (an excellent co-pilot, wild card and funny man) and me (the photographer while on wheels).

On the way down we could smell the potential winnings, and decided to make the 27 hours drive without stopping.  Looking back, it was stupid.   Here are some photos from the drive down.

this is one of my favorites

All of our most memorable moment was around 3 am while dad and I were sleeping in the back, and Andy was at the helm.  I wake up to find the car stopped in the left lane of the freeway.  Andy decided that the scenery was interesting enough to stop for, but not interesting enough to pull over for.  So after realizing that we weren't being abducted, we pulled over and checked out the mountains in the starlight.  It was a gorgeous site.  Kudos to Andy for waking us all up for the remainder of the drive.
