We left Saturday around 10 am, and arrived in Las Vegas at our hotel on Sunday at 1 pm. Much to our chagrin, our rooms were not ready. Dad and I begrudgingly (he he he) went to waste some time at the machines. Dad learned quickly which machines he liked, and which would be points of reference in the future. Once our rooms were ready, we all tried to stay awake for a few more hours.
We had a late breakfast at "Kahunaville" at our casino, and had an even later dinner at "I Heart Burgers" in the Palazzo. I was not overly impressed by their burgers (go figure), but the strawberry shake was good enough to invade a city over. Like zombies, we wandered back to our hotel and went to bed. That drive damn near killed us all.
